Laurelville Elementary Student Council and 4th grade, under the direction of Mrs. Wolfe presented our Veterans Day Recognition program on Friday, November 11, 2016. The students did a wonderful job with their presentation and songs. Thank you to our guest speaker, Ms. Carol Cater, for attending and thank you to all of our guests and Veterans that were in attendance. Most importantly, thank you to all Veterans for their service and sacrifice.
Students in second grade put their learning into action today with a hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathmatics) activity. Students worked collaboratively in groups to construct a scarecrow. Students had a blast. It's always a good day when learning is "disguised" as fun!
The Annual Laurelville Elementary Halloween Parade is set for Friday, October 28th. The students will parade through the streets of Lauerville, dressed in costumes, led by the Logan Elm High School and Middle School bands. Beginning at 1:15, the parade will start at the front of the school. Following the conclusion of the parade route, both bands will perform on the front lawn of the school. Classroom parties will follow.
Please remember the following rules for costumes:
NO BLOOD. NO GORE. NO SCARY. NO WEAPONS OR LOOK ALIKE WEAPONS OF ANY KIND.
